Faha Falconry boasts a diverse collection of birds, including Harris hawks, Peregrine falcons, Owls and crested Caracara. Each bird has its own unique personality, and visitors have the opportunity to meet and interact with them up close.
After the introduction, visitors are given a glove and taught how to hold it properly. This is important, as the glove will be used to hold the bird of prey during the experience. Visitors are also taught the proper way to call the bird to their glove using a lure.
Once everyone is comfortable with the basics, the real fun begins. Visitors are paired with a Harris hawk or a Peregrine falcon, and the falconer demonstrates how to call the bird to the glove. The bird will fly from a perch to the glove, where it will receive a reward for its successful flight.
